Comprised of 151 homes and a lot of great neighbors, Sierra Del Mar is conveniently located between I-95 and Florida's Turnpike, just North West of the intersection of Palmetto Park and Powerline Roads - tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the area.
We have shopping and restaurants nearby. We're adjacent to Del Prado Elementary School. We also have a park with a beautiful lake and walking paths in our back yard. Plus, we're not far from Sugar Sand Park, area golf courses, nature preserves and many more of the fun things South Florida has to offer.
Sierra Del Mar is part of Boca Del Mar Improvement District which began developing 2350 acres in the early 1970s. Parcels of various sizes were designated on the master plan for residential, commercial, civic, religious and education sites, and of course golf courses, open landscaped spaces, and bicycle trails.
The earliest homes in Sierra Del Mar were built in 1978 when this area was still rural. Our homes are three basic styles but with clever landscaping and personalization each seems unique. Although most homes have a pool or spa, we also have a community pool that is an ideal setting for community socials.
Our Association has a Board of Directors comprised of seven homeowners and several active committees.
